We’re not going to throw the question out to you of, “who do you think Jesus Christ is?” it isn’t because we’re not interested in hearing your answer, we just already know who He is. He’s not somebody’s homeboy. He’s not some cross-obsessed dude that lived a really long time ago. He wasn’t just a good teacher or a really rad magician. He isn’t just some dead prophet. In fact He’s not dead at all.

No. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus Christ is God. Can’t wrap your mind around that? It’s okay. That’s why He’s God and you’re not. Jesus Christ was sent to earth, by God the Father, over 2,000 years ago. He lived a perfect life, completely without sin, so that He could accomplish what no man ever could or would be able to; He took away the sins of the world. And yes, this means yours, as well. So think about it. Jesus Christ took away your sins. This doesn’t mean that He swept them under the rug. He didn’t magically make them disappear. He didn’t just decide to pretend that you don’t’ sin. He literally became guilty of every wrong thing you’ve done in your lifetime and of all the wrong things you’re going to continue to do. Jesus Christ didn’t come to prove that He was God. He came because He LOVES you! Because He desires to have a relationship with YOU! It’s crazy right? The God of the universe, the Creator of all you see, hear, smell, taste, and know; the One who causes the sun to rise and the rain to fall; He cares about little ol’ you! He loves you so much that He came and took the punishment for your sin. Do you know anyone else who would do that for you, for ALL your sins? If someone could look at all the thoughts you think and all the things you do when you think no one is watching, do you think they’d be willing to step in and say that you didn’t do them, but that they did those things? No! You can search the whole world and you’re not ever going to find someone to take the bullet for you. The good news is that you don’t have to look for anyone. He’s already done it! You just need to receive the life He desires to give you after all these years. So come on! Feel free to leave your life of sin, loneliness, bitterness, anger, fear, doubt, rejection, and death. He died on the cross and rose again after three days so that He could become the Way for you. Walk in the life, love, freedom, peace, hope, forgiveness, and grace that are openly and unconditionally available to you. This is how you do it:

1. Confess it with you mouth that Jesus is Lord and Savior of your life.
   ‘if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus…’ Romans 10:9a
2. Believe in your heart.
   ‘and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.’ Romans 10:9b
3. Contact a leader at the church to help you in walking out your new life in Christ. We believe that no one should live life alone. It’s just not God’s heart for you.
   ‘God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.’ Psalms 68:6
